Historical/Biographical Sketch
Frank Pitt was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on March 12th, 1908. He attended Columbia University and earned both his B.A. in 1928 and his LL.B in 1930. Then, he went on to earn his S.J.D. in 1934 at New York University. Pitt became an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Toledo in 1971. He retired in June of 1978.
Scope and Content Note
Collection consists of five volumes (1925-1929) of “The Columbian”, the yearbook of Columbia University. Pitt was the Managing Editor of the yearbook during his enrollment for both his B.A. and for one year while earning his LL.B.
