A program like no other. Ohio has no other graduate program that blends graduate work in a specific subject area with graduate work in education. Other programs focus solely on curriculum and instruction or solely on the subject area.
Earn College Credit Plus credentials while working on your online M.S.E. in biology or chemistry. You’ll meet state requirements to teach entry-level college courses in a high school, community college or university. The program includes a one-week, on-campus summer experience.
Online support. UToledo’s distance learners have all the resources of a major, public university. We offer you the tools you need to succeed: UT Online, eTutoring and our IT Help Desk.
Most of the students in the science and education master’s program are teachers or work in institutions with a strong educational component.
UToledo’s graduate program allows them to teach in new places (such as community colleges) or to teach more advanced material in their current workplaces.
