Getting Started

Consult your high school guidance counselor about the program the school year before you want to participate.

Discuss the program with your parents and get their permission to participate.

Register with your high school as a dual credit student by the March 30th deadline.

Complete The University of Toledo College Credit Plus Application form and submit it. You will receive an instant acknowledgment if your application has been submitted successfully. 

The parent and student must sign the UT Consent and Approval form and return it to school counselor so that he/she can complete it and submit it electronically with a current, official, signed high school transcript, and test results for the ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer tests.  If you have not taken the ACT or SAT tests at the time you are applying, please contact the Office of Dual Credit at 419.530.4200 or via email at dualcredit@utoledo.edu for information on taking the Accuplacer test.

    • Your application, transcript and test score(s) will be reviewed and if everything is satisfactory, you will be admitted and receive an email then a letter announcing your admission. Included will be your Rocket number and next steps so that you can set up your student account and your UT Rockets email.
    • Your Success Coach will also contact you to introduce themselves and supply you with information for next steps including orientation, advising, and registration.
