Presidential Scholarship
Our most prestigious award that covers full tuition and general fee, room and board, and provides a one-time summer stipend of $3,000. Learn more

2016 direct from high school Merit Scholarships

$6,000 - Honors Award    $3,500 - Regents Award    $1,500 - Trustees Award    $1,000 - Deans Award
These awards are four-year renewable scholarships that recognize outstanding students upon review of their cumulative high school GPA, ACT/SAT test scores, and strength of high school curriculum. Learn more

Out-of-State Surcharge Coverage

Out-of-State Award
This variable award offers from $5,000 to $9,338 to assist with the out-of-state surcharge of $9,338 and recognizes outstanding students from outside of Ohio and Monroe County, Mich. Learn more

Scholarly Savings Account

The Scholarly Savings Account awards students from participating school districts. Learn more

Stackable Awards

UT Legacy Award
Awards $500 to students who are children of alumni. Learn more

University Housing Award
Variable award for students attending UT directly from high school who show financial need as determined by the FAFSA and will be residing in university housing. Students are automatically reviewed for this award.

UT Rocket Marching Band Award
Award of $1,000 for students attending The University of Toledo and accepted into the UT Rocket Marching Band. Audition may be required. Learn more



UT Sibling Award
Awards $1,000 per sibling who are both attending UT. Learn more

UT Assistance Award
Variable award for students attending UT directly from high school who show financial need as determined by the FAFSA and who live within a 50-mile radius of Toledo. Students are automatically reviewed for this award.

Levis Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship for the first academic year is offered to 30 - 40 incoming freshman students accepted into the Levis Leadership UT Program.  Learn more
