Schedule Group Visit

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a group visit to The University of Toledo!  We look forward to creating a rewarding and informative experience for your group.  To get started please review the following information carefully.

Reservations:

  • Group tours are offered Monday thru Friday each week.  Available tour times are 9:30am, 12:00pm, and 1:30pm. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate weekend visits.
  • UT prefers that visits are requested at least 3 weeks in advance.
  • Group visits are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and are unavailable during peak visitation times, October, during finals weeks, and between semesters. While admissions will work to comply with your requests, some dates may be unavailable.  If we cannot arrange a visit for your group on the dates you request, we will work to schedule an alternate day to suit your needs.
  • Group visits will consist of a 30-minute admission overview followed by a 60-minute walking campus tour.  Requests for lunch can be accommodated, but details and payment arrangements will be determined by the Recruitment Coordinator for your territory.
  • Once you have submitted your request, you will receive a response from our office within two business days notifying you that your visit request has been received. We will then follow up promptly to confirm your tour date, time, and location. This email will include your agenda and a map with presentation location, parking instructions, and contact information. Your group visit is not confirmed until you receive an email notification that includes tour date, time, and location.

Group Tour Guidelines:

  • School counselors are encouraged to select students to attend the visit that have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
  • UT requires 1 chaperone for every 10 students. Should a group arrive without adequate chaperones, some activities including the campus tour may be cancelled. Chaperones are required to stay with their groups at all times including while on tour.  Chaperones are responsible for maintaining order while groups are on campus.
  • UT expects that your group leader has the necessary emergency contact information for the group’s participants, should any such information be necessary while on campus.
  • Students are not permitted to use cell phones, or other electronic devices during the tour or presentation.
  • Please encourage students to dress appropriately for the weather as the walking tours continue despite rain or snow and each guest is expected to bring any weather gear (umbrellas, jackets, etc.) necessary.
  • We ask that groups remember that UT is a place of study and a home to our students.  Groups are asked to respect our students along with their places of study and residence.
  • If discipline issues arise amongst the group UT reserves the right to end the group’s visit at any point during the presentation or tour.
  • Please be on-time for your visit.  While UT will work to adjust your itinerary due to unexpected circumstances, we cannot guarantee the full UT experience if your group is not on time.

Please fill out the form below to request a group visit. Thank you.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to recruitment travel, our office will be unable to accommodate group visits in October. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause, but we want to be able to provide your group with the best possible visit experience and will be unable to do so during October due to limited resources.
