Jane Bradley

Jane BradleyProfessor of English Jane Bradley taught creative writing, fiction workshops, screenwriting and a service learning course, Writing Within the Community. She received her BA from UT-Chattanooga, her MA from Syracuse University, and her MFA from Vermont College. Prof. Bradley's latest publication You Believers, a novel, was selected as one of the best books of 2011 by Barnes & Noble Book Club, The Kansas City Star and The St. Louis Post-Dispatch. It was translated into French and Slovak. Her latest story collection is Are We Lucky Yet? . Her first story collection, Power Lines, was listed as an editor's choice for a "Notable Book" in The New York Times Book Review. Her novel, Living Doll is used in many graduate education and psychiatric intern programs as a text on psychological fragmentation and reintegration in children and adolescents. She was the author of the screenwriting textbook, Screenwriting 101: Small Steps While Thinking Big.

Professor Bradley died on September 20th, 2020.
