Sara Lundquist (PhD Boston College, 1993) is a Professor Emerita and former department chair of the English Department. She taught Modern and Contemporary American Literature. She has published on the American poets Ashbery, Guest, Williams, Jeffers, Graham, Merrill, and Schuyler. She has a particular interest in ekphrastic poetry, and writes reviews of new poetry for Poetry Review of London. She has been the recipient of an NEH Summer Grant and a Beinecke Fellowship from Yale University.
