Chamber Singers - MUS 3140:001Concert Chorale

The UT Chamber Singers is the premiere chorale ensemble at the University of Toledo. Singing music in a variety of styles, this ensemble performs in major concerts on campus and at events throughout the region. They are the primary touring choral ensemble for UT. Admission is by audition only. Fall auditions take place during the first week of classes, while auditions for the spring semester take place in December. Glee Club - MUS 3180:001

T/TH 4-5:20 pm

The Glee Club is open to all tenor/baritone/bass voices on the UT campus. The choir sings a wide variety of music from a cappella sacred works to spirituals, show tunes, carols and lighter songs. It performs in at least one concert each semester and occasionally appears with the UT Concert Chorale and the University Orchestra.

Rocket Choristers - mus 3160:001
TH 5:45-7:25pm

The Rocket Choristers is open to any soprano/alto voices on the UT campus.  The choir sings a wide variety of music from a cappella sacred works to spirituals, show tunes, carols and lighter songs.  It performs in at least one concert each semester and occasionally appears with the UT Concert Chorale and the University Orchestra.

UT Opera Ensemble (Opera Workshop) - MUS 3190:001/MUS 5190:001

The UT Opera Ensemble develops the techniques and skills of operatic performance. Emphasis is placed equally on singing and acting skills. Detailed musical coaching includes stylistic study, diction, ornamentation and discussions of performance practice.  This is an auditioned ensemble. For more information about joining this ensemble, please contact the Director.
