HOMECOMING CHEERLEADER & MASCOT REUNION 2008
Dear UT Cheerleading/Mascot Alum,
It’s almost here! The 2008 Homecoming Cheerleader & Mascot Reunion is set and your official invitation has arrived. Please see the schedule below and the online reservation form for complete details.
Please bring as many guests as you’d like for Homecoming weekend. The highlights of the weekend include the Alumni Association’s Homecoming Gala on Friday night followed by an exclusive cheerleader and mascot party at Trotter’s Tavern, a lunch on Saturday, walking in the annual Homecoming parade and cheering on-field in the Glass Bowl during the Homecoming game festivities.
Friday, Oct. 3
6 p.m. Alumni Association Homecoming Gala (Student Union Auditorium)
9:30 p.m. Cheerleader Reunion at Trotter's Tavern (Heatherdowns at Reynolds)
Saturday, Oct. 4
11:30 a.m. Lunch (Student Union Room 2584)
2 p.m. Homecoming parade
3:30 p.m. Practice (Health Education building)
4 p.m. Alumni Association tent party (Health Education building tennis courts)
7 p.m. Kick-off vs. Ball State (Glass Bowl)
Suggested parking for the day is in Area 13 adjacent to the West Ramp parking garage. As long as you arrive in the morning, there will be no charge for parking, and your car can stay there the entire day. Dress for the day is your official Cheerleader Alumni Reunion T-shirt and sweatshirt which you will receive when checking in at the lunch. Any mascots that may have original suits are encouraged to bring and wear them!
We will walk in the Homecoming parade as a unit adjacent to the current cheerleaders. The staging area for the parade is in Areas 1 North and South. We will walk as a group together after lunch from the Student Union to the parade area and after the parade to the Health Education building.
Pricing for the events is outlined on the online reservation form. You may purchase the day as a whole or choose individual events (for you and/or your guests). Please note that the RSVP deadline is Friday, Sept. 26.
The list of cheerleading and mascot alumni is online for your reference.
