Undergraduate Programs

The department of communication offers undergraduate students the opportunity to focus on one of the four following areas of study:

  • Broadcasting
  • Journalism
  • Public Relations
  • Interpersonal/Organizational Communication

What we provide our students are both academic excellence through comprehensive classwork, and real-world professional skills to help them gain the necessary hands-on experience.

In addition to finding or creating rewarding positions for themselves in broadcasting, journalism, and public relations, our graduates often find their education, understanding and clinical skills highly valued in corporations, government, social service agencies, and health care organizations.
