Curriculum

Communication Minor

A minor in communication is designed for students who wish to supplement their major field of study with an introduction to communication principles and practices. 
To earn a minor in communication a student must complete 21 total hours of coursework. There are two required classes that all students must take:

  • COMM 2000 - Mass Communication and Society (3 hrs.)
  • COMM 2400 - Introduction to Communication (3 hrs.)  

In addition, a student must select 6-9 hours of Applied Communication courses and 6-9 hours of Conceptual Communication. See the lists below of the courses to choose from:
