Undergraduate Summer Research and Creative Activity Program (USR&CAP)
This competitive program provides a stipend ($2,750) and a research supplies budget ($250) for undergraduate students to conduct research during summer 2007. USR&CAP is open to UT undergraduates in all disciplines.
First Year Summer Research Experience (FYSRE)
This competitive program provides a stipend ($2,750) and research supplies budget ($250) for freshmen to conduct research during their first summer as UT students (summer 2007). FYSRE is open to UT freshmen in all disciplines. For guidelines and program requirements, visit http://www.undergraduateresearch.utoledo.edu.
Students can apply to the USR&CAP and FYSRE programs Nov. 1, 2006, through Feb. 2, 2007. FYSRE applicants also will be considered for the USR&CAP program.
Research Abroad
Undergraduate students also can apply for funds to conduct research while studying abroad. These funds could help with local travel and/or supplies while abroad to research at facilities, museums and libraries. These awards are made on a continuous basis.
