Master of Arts: Literature Concentration
The course of study leading to the M. A. in Literature provides students with freedom to pursue their own objectives. In general it is expected that they will familiarize themselves with selected major authors and literary movements in England and America to the present, will attain an understanding of the historical development and main features of American English, and will improve their ability to analyze, explicate, and criticize literary works.
