Clifford VanBuskirk, M.A. Student
Cliff VanBuskirk received his B.A. in History from Shippensburg University in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and is a first year Master’s student. He was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta in March of 2008. Since 2008, he has been working with several professors from Shippensburg University on a history of that university during the Great Depression.
His main area of graduate work is in the field of Latin American History. Specifically, he is interested in nineteenth-century Brazilian politics and society. Throughout other regions of Latin America, he is interested in Marxist thought, European expansion, colonial economic structures and colonial social hierarchy. He is working under Dr. Charles Beatty-Medina.
Cliff is a native of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
