Network Services available at the Lake Erie Center
The Lake Erie Center has available a wealth of services online to help facilitate research and outreach. Online Databases, WWW, Pop and IMAP mail services, FTP, SCP (secure data transfer), SMB (Windows File Service), AFP(Apple File Services), Streaming media, (QT streamer).
This means if you would like we can set up a password protected account on the LEC server. With this account you can store, access, and download your data from any point in the world with network access. You can have your own web address and web space. We can even set up specialized URL or web address such as www.yourname.utoledo.edu.
