Volunteer/Research Opportunities
Volunteer Opportunities
UT's Pmed/Pden/Pvet program provides students with the opportunity to receive college credit for performing volunteer work or shadowing experiences in a health care setting. Students can volunteer on campus through the Perceptual Motor Development program, on the UT Health Sciences Campus at the Medical Center, at other hospitals in the local Toledo area, or at another facility of their choosing.
Research Opportunties
Undergraduate students are encouraged to become involved in research to enhance their academic experience. Working through UT’s Office of Undergraduate Research, students can find opportunities to receive stipends during the school year and summers to support their research experience. Students also have the option of receiving college credit for research experiences. While many of our students will stay at UT to engage in research, many students will seek opportunities at other institutions all over the country.
