Jim has been with the University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film for over 25 years. He is a scenic design member of United Scenic Artists Local 829 in New York, a union for professional designers in the performing arts. Besides designing numerous productions for UT, he also designs for the Toledo Repertoire Theatre, Toledo Ballet and other companies in the region. Jim supervises sound production in the department and works with student designers. He received an MFA in theatre design from The University of Arizona, and an MA and BA in theatre from Adams State College.
Jim teaches Stagecraft, Scenic Design, Scene Painting, Sound Design, and Introduction to Theatre.
