Where is the UT Center for Performing Arts Box Office located? (map)

The Box Office is located in the Center for Performing Arts, at the corner of Tower View and Campus Drive West, on UT's main campus. The CPA is on the west side of main campus and can be easily reached by taking the West Entrance into campus off of Secor Road. Parking is available in the lot across from the building.

Phone: 419.530.2375

Do I need a parking pass to park on campus? Is parking free?

Plays, concerts, film screenings and similar events are normally scheduled after 5 p.m. or on the weekends, when parking is not restricted. If you are parking on campus on the weekends or after 5 p.m., you will not be ticketed. If you would like to come to campus during the week before 5 p.m. to buy tickets, there are metered spaces in the lot across from the CPA which you can use. You can also obtain a free visitor parking pass from the Transportation Center. It is located in Rocket Hall, at the corner of Dorr and Secor Roads. More about Visitor Parking

What are the Spring 2010 Box Office hours?

The UT Center for Performing Arts Box Office is open on the following days & times:

  • Closed Weekends*

*Hours subject to change, please call 419.530.2375. On play performance dates, the Box Office is also open an hour and a half prior to show time, including weekend performances. For concerts, if there is a charge for tickets, they can be purchased at the door, unless reservations are expressly required.

      How much are tickets?

      • $9 Students
      • $11 Faculty, Staff, Alumni & Seniors (55+)
      • $13 General Public

Film screenings are free, but a $3 donation is appreciated to help defray costs.

Tickets to Music Department events are usually free, HOWEVER, Jazz and Choral concerts are:

      • $3 Seniors (55+), and Students*
      • $5 General Public*

*Exceptions are certain special Jazz events such as the Holiday Concert, The Art Tatum Memorial Jazz Scholarship Concert, and the Valentine Dinner Dance concert. What discounts are available?

      Theatre & Film Group Discounts

When you purchase any 8 tickets or more in a single order, you automatically save 15% off the price of those tickets purchased separately. This discount is available online, by phone or at the Box Office.

      Theatre & Film Season Tickets

Season Tickets include one ticket to each opening night performance of our four plays. If you are unable to attend on opening night, your ticket can be exchanged for another performance of that play. However, you must contact the Box Office two business days in advance or the exchange will not be honored. This gives us time to resell the opening night ticket.

How do I buy a ticket?

Tickets to plays - and some concerts - are available at the Box Office, by phone or online. Tickets to concerts charging admission can also be purchased at the door, unless advance reservations are required.

Is there a cutoff time for online ticket sales?

Yes. The cut-off is generally 2 and a half hours prior to showtime.

What forms of payment do you accept?

      We accept:

      • Cash
      • Check
      • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express)
      • UT Rocket Card (in person at the Box Office only)

Can I reserve a seat and pay later?

No. We do not allow reserved seating without payment.

      What is Will Call?

When you purchase a ticket you have the option of taking it with you or having it set aside for you at Will Call. When you come to the performance, give your name to the usher and they will give you the tickets you bought. There is no extra fee for this service. If you buy tickets online, your tickets will automatically be placed at Will Call, unless you pay to have them mailed to you.

Can I have tickets mailed to me?

Yes. Mail service is available for an additional $1.50. The mail service option is available only when tickets are purchased at least 10 days prior to the performance, to guarantee delivery of tickets.
