Member for a Day Event - October 21, 2017
What's it like to be a member of the Rocket Marching Band?  Come join us on Saturday, October 21 when UT hosts the University of Akron.  Meet the directors, interact with current RMB members, and join the band in the stands and on the field.  See what it means to be a Member for a Day.  The schedule for the event will be determined once official game time is announced.  To be placed on our contact list for the event, please register today.

  • Game start time of 12:00 p.m.
    • If you are interested in the Main Camps tour, please check in for Member for a Day at 8:00 a.m. .
    • If you have already toured campus or cannot join us for the 8:00 a.m. Main Campus tour, please check in between 9:00-9:30 a.m.
  • Game start of 3:00 p.m.
    • Check in for Member for a Day will be between 11:00-11:30 a.m.

About the Band

The University of Toledo Rocket Marching Band is one of the largest and most visible student groups on campus! With over 240 musicians, dancers, twirlers, and color guard, the RMB is a positive source of pride and school spirit for you as well as the entire UT community.  It's a GREAT time to get involved!  Remember that The RMB:

  • Is open to ALL UT students, regardless of major.  Engineering, Pharmacy, and Nursing students represent a large number of The RMB's ranks.
  • Is a class, which provides a 1-hr. elective credit that will count toward ANY degree.
  • Performs in the BEST venue in the MAC.  The Glass Bowl seats 26,000 and hosts some of the most exciting college football in the country!

If you have ANY questions about participation in the RMB, please contact the UT Bands Office at 419-530-2217 or contact the director at Andrew.Rhodes@utoledo.edu.
