Upcoming Events for High School Students:
Summer Career Fridays: July 17 and August 7, 2009
Finance 101: October 20, 2009

For more than 75 years, The University of Toledo College of Business Administration has offered more than a business education - we offer a business experience. We lay the foundation for business basics, offering hands-on learning and career opportunities that set COBA programs apart from other college business programs. For example, you don't just learn about the stock market - you can participate in trading simulations and have the opportunity to invest more than $1 million. Our students in the Human Resource Management program have won the Ohio HR Games competition several times, sending students to the national competition. And our Sales students have won national awards at the Russ Berrie Sales Competition.

Our students don't just read about business leaders and innovators - they meet and speak with them, including alumni such as John Snow, former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, and John Neff, one of the greatest American investors of the 20th century and the namesake of the John and Lillian Neff Stock Trading Floor at the University of Toledo.

UT College of Business students don't just prepare for the job market - they are in it, as more than 90 percent of our students participate in at least one internship before graduation. In addition to internships, Business Career Programs begins preparing students for careers early in their academic career with courses, mock interviews with employers, and job fairs with record setting employer participation. Approximately 85% of our students are placed in full-time jobs when they graduate, and the students who are not seeking full-time employment are highly competitive in placing into top-flight graduate schools across the country.

Do you want to become a life-long business leader? If so, UT is the place for you!
