Fun Ways to Learn Outside the Classroom!

Study Abroad offers the opportunity to learn about different cultures, make friends around the world, enhance your foreign language skills, and find adventure through travel.

Inaddition to the programs coordinated directly through the College of Business and Innovation (COBI), The University of Toledo partners with over 50 universities, globally, through the University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC). The International Business Institute offers two-week intensive immersion programs traveling to different world regions. These intensive programs involve:

• 15 to 20 hours of class room pre-departure preparation,
• Guest presentations by regional or global business leaders,
• Visitations to U.S. or foreign businesses, and meetings with government agencies. Recent trips have included:

1. Germany and the netherlands (2006)
2. Japan (2006)
3. Spain (2006)
4. Japan (2007)
5. China (2008)

The International Business Institute and The University of Toledo (Study Abroad Office) provide travel grants, scholarships, and financial aid to help defray the cost!
