Financial Aid for International Students
Sister City Scholarship

This award is available to students entering any semester, and does not require an application.

Award: Covers out-of-state tuition surcharge for full-time enrollment.

Minimum Requirements: Available to students whose permanent address is within one of the Toledo Sister Cities/Regions, which include Toledo, Spain; Londrina, Brazil; Qinhuangdao, China; Csongrad County, Hungary; Delmenhorst, Germany; Toyohashi, Japan; Tanga, Tanzania; Bekaa Valley, Lebanon and Poznan, Poland.

Renewal Criteria: Academically eligible students can renew this award for 15 consecutive semesters over a maximum of five years, or until completion of a graduate degree, whichever comes first, as long as the student maintains full-time enrollment each academic year.

Graduate Assistantships

The MBA and MS in Accountancy programs offer a limited number of Graduate Assistantships each year to academically qualified domestic and international students. The assistantship covers a tuition waiver and a stipend in return for the student working approximately 20 hours per week in a College of Business office. To obtain an application, please visit the individual program's webpage by visiting our Academic Programs link on the left, and then proceeding to either the MBA or MSA program's page.

The undergraduate, EMBA, and Post-Doctoral Bridge programs do not offer any graduate assistantships.

The Ph.D. program does offer funding for several years while you are a full-time student in the program.
