Organizational Leadership & Management

Learn More

The University of Toledo John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation's organizational leadership and management (OLM) program has three major components: leading and managing change; training and development; and communication.

Organizational leadership and management (OLM) students learn how to manage and lead change, diagnose problems and come up with solutions, and improve the people who make organizations successful. They develop leadership and managerial competencies, communication, organizational development and change, and conflict resolution and negotiation skills. This knowledge base enables UToledo students to enter a variety of organizations, both for-profit and not-for-profit.

Students are continually involved in the OLM field by participating in professional meetings and by welcoming practitioners to speak in their classrooms. Students can gain real-world experience through numerous internship opportunities that often lead to full-time positions. This allows students to work with accomplished professionals in leadership and management while earning college credit.
