Legal Secretarial Technology

The Department of Applied Organizational Technology offers an associate degree in Legal Secretarial Technology that prepares students to perform the duties that are essential to the smooth operation of a legal office. A legal office professional must have both human relations and technical skills to work effectively with attorneys, clients, and co-workers. The U.S. Department of Labor lists legal administrative assistants as one of the 50 hottest jobs.

Many of the courses required for this degree may be taken via the Internet.

Upon completion of this 2-year degree, students may choose to apply the earned credits toward a bachelor’s degree.
