Pusan National University, Bowling State University, and the University Transportation Center and Intermodal Transportation Institute (ITI) at The University of Toledo invite you to participate in a Symposium and Workshop on Global Supply Chain Management.


Pusan National University (PNU) is one of the most recognized leading national institute of high education in South Korea. PNU was founded on May 1946 in Pusan, the Republic of Korea's second largest metropolis, by Korean government. PNU has grown to be a prestigious university standing abreast with world renowned university. BNU now comprises 12 colleges and general graduate schools, and 6 professional graduate schools, and contributes to the development of the nation and the world by producing prominent experts and talented leaders.

Bowling Green State University (BGSU) is a premier university that is comprised of the diverse community of 21,000 students representing 50 states in the U.S. and 83 foreign nations. It combines values of exploration programs with academic learning to prepare students to become critical thinkers, skilled communicators, and ethical leaders.  Its business college is one of only 171 colleges worldwide to have earned AACSB accreditation in both business and accounting.  In particular, the BGSU’s supply chain management program has been named the 16th best program in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report.

The University of Toledo is a designated University Transportation Center by US Department of Transportation. The ITI was established by The University of Toledo in collaboration with its public and private sector partners to develop technology-enabled intermodal transportation systems and supply chains that promote economic development and quality of life.  UT’s College of Business offers Ph.D. in Manufacturing Management and the Post-Doctoral Bridge Program that is designed to develop academically qualified faculty to teach in an AACSB accredited institution.

This 2nd International Symposium and Workshop will be held at the Sang Nam International Center on the campus of the Busan National University, South Korea during May 29-30, 2008.
