relationship to the major religions and philosophies of each culture.

[3 hours] Course is crosslisted as AFST 3300. Study of the diversity of African art. The course will emphasize
region and style with focus upon the collections of African Art in the Toledo Museum of Art.

[3 hours] Ancient Art of the Americas is a course which will focus on the artifacts produced by
the indigenous populations of the Americas before the arrival of Columbus in the New World.
