[3 hours] The study of various microprocessor designs, organization, and their capabilities.

[4 hours] Examines the technical aspects of networks and telecommunication. Topics covered include:
network models, hardware and software components, transmission media, protocols, standards, regulatory issues, local and wide area technologies.
Prerequisite: CMPT 1020 or 1100
CNET - 2300 NETWORK ADMINISTRATION
[4 hours] Advanced course in Novell Netware including directory structures, security, utilities,
printing and performance management. Preparation for the Novell Netware Administrator exam (CNA). Corequisite: CNET 2200
CNET - 2400 NETWORK APPLICATIONS
[3 hours] Practical experience in networking environment either in business, engineering, or an
educational institution under faculty supervision. Prerequisite: CNET 2300
CNET - 2940 NETWORK CAPSTONE PROJECT
