CNET - 2100 MULTI-USER MICRO COMPUTER OPERATING SYSTEMS
[4 hours] This course will offer in-depth experiences in multi-user operating systems including Unix, OS/2, and Windows NT. Topics included are: multi-tasking, directory structure, and resource sharing. Prerequisite: CMPT 1100 or 1020


CNET - 2150 MICROPROCESSOR APPLICATIONS
[3 hours] The study of various microprocessor designs, organization, and their capabilities. Special focus will be placed on applications in a business environment. Prerequisite: CMPT 1100 or 1020


CNET - 2200 NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES
[4 hours] Examines the technical aspects of networks and telecommunication. Topics covered include: network models, hardware and software components, transmission media, protocols, standards, regulatory issues, local and wide area technologies. Prerequisite: CMPT 1020 or 1100


CNET - 2300 NETWORK ADMINISTRATION
[4 hours] Advanced course in Novell Netware including directory structures, security, utilities, printing and performance management. Preparation for the Novell Netware Administrator exam (CNA). Corequisite: CNET 2200


CNET - 2400 NETWORK APPLICATIONS
[3 hours] Practical experience in networking environment either in business, engineering, or an educational institution under faculty supervision. Prerequisite: CNET 2300


CNET - 2940 NETWORK CAPSTONE PROJECT
[2 hours] Practical experience in a networking environment either within the engineering technology department or at a business location under faculty supervision. Prerequisite: CNET 2200 Corequisite: CNET 2300
