Construction Engineering Technology

Degree Requirements

The objective of the curriculum in Construction Engineering Technology is to prepare the student for a position as an engineering technician or technologist in engineering support in the construction industry, shelter, transportation infrastructure, and water and waste systems. Graduates of the baccalaureate program are eligible to sit for the F.E. examination in most states as the first step toward registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). Students transferring into this program from other colleges and universities with deficiencies will be required to complete course prerequisites before enrolling in required upper-division courses.
