Degree Requirements

The objective of the curriculum in Electronics Engineering Technology is to prepare the student for a position as an engineering technician or technologist in engineering support in the electronics industry, manufacturing, testing, sales and service, and design support of equipment and systems used in communication, instrumentation, computers, automation and power. Graduates of the baccalaureate program are eligible to sit for the F.E. examination in most states as the first step toward registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.). Students transferring into this program from other colleges and universities with deficiencies will be required to complete course prerequisites before enrolling in required upper-division courses.
