[4 hours] Clinical experiences are provided in acute care and outpatient

[4 hours] Study of the procedures and principles in M-mode, 2-D and Doppler echocardiography.

[3 hours] Introduction to echocardiography views utilized for M-mode, 2-D and

CARD- 2180 ADVANCED ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
[2 hours] Advanced pathophysiology, including stress echo, transesophageal and congenital

[4 hours] Advanced echocardiography studies, with Doppler

CARD - 2380 ULTRASOUND PHYSICS AND INSTRUMENTATION
[4 hours] The physical principles of ultrasound image generation and the
image interpretation skills will be discussed. Assessment of cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases will be covered. Prerequisite: MATH

CARD - 2400 PERIPHERAL VASCULAR - VENOUS DISORDERS
[4 hours] Study of the procedures and principles involved in recording
and performing an analysis of non-invasive PV data. The use of quantitative and qualitative methods of detecting venous diseases are covered.

CARD - 2410 PERIPHERAL VASCULAR LABORATORY/CLINICAL I
[3 hours] Performance of non-invasive peripheral vascular procedures
related to venous diseases. Laboratory and clinical experience are provided to support the didactic curriculum. Clinical rotations

CARD - 2420 PERIPHERAL VASCULAR - ARTERIAL DISORDERS
[2 hours] A study of the procedures and principles involved in
