Distinguished Achievement Award Finalist Anatomy & Physiology Revealed
The Association for Educational Publishers (AEP) has selected Anatomy & Physiology Revealed as a top finalist in the 2006 Distinguished Achievement Awards program for excellence in educational publishing.
Anatomy & Physiology Revealed was developed by Roy Schneider, manager of medical illustration; Dr. Mark Hankin, associate professor of neurosciences; Dr. Dennis Morse, professor emeritus of neurosciences, and Dr. Carol Bennett-Clarke, associate professor of neurosciences and associate dean for pre-clinical medical education in conjunction with the Center for Creative Instruction.
Anatomy and Physiology Revealed is an interactive CD-ROM program that uses images of actual cadaver specimens, rather than illustrations, to teach anatomy and physiology.
The complete four-CD series was made available for purchase last month and is also being packaged with several McGraw-Hill textbooks.
Lisa Procyk, CCI project manager for Anatomy & Physiology Revealed, said, "It's an honor to be among the past winners, such as the American Museum of Natural History and Scholastic Inc."
