    The Moving Cell

The Moving Cell is an interactive program which demonstrates how the cell membrane functions utilizing three-dimensional models and animations to accomplish this. This program was created with Macromedia Director 6.0 with input and guidance from UT physiologist Dr. Colin Budd.

The program includes 3D animations and movies showing cell membrane structure, osmosis, and transport, along with actual live images of cells taken through a microscope. There are also digital audio narrations which explain the content of each section being observed.
