    Illustration:
Our Medical and Digital Illustrators are equipped with Wacom tablets so that they can draw directly into the computer. Scanners can be utilized to import traditional drawings and airbrush work into digital formats for further touch-up and editing.

    Audio Recording:
A soundproof audio booth allows the CCI to record voice overs and other material for videos and multimedia projects. A control room equipped with the latest in audio hardware and software enables employees to edit and save the audio to perfectly suit the needs of UT.

    Video Production:
A fully equipped video studio makes use of a cyclorama and green screen technology to ensure the highest quality shots are obtained. The control room uses Toast and a wide range of hardware to manage and edit the footage.

    Virtual Reality:
A motion capture system and suit allow CCI employees to gather live motion inputs for use in creating realistic 3D character animations. The Haptec system allows the CCI to program force feedback applications to provide accurate resistance when training medical students. A 3D scanner can be used to obtain authentic information on objects than can be imported into Maya to create stunning graphics and animations.

    Collaborative Learning Room:
The Collaborative Learning Room contains a large monitor equipped with a smart board allows CCI members to present information and interact with the screen itself to help get the point across. Polycom video conferencing equipment is installed, enabling long distance meetings and lessons to take place.

There are several student work areas set up in the building for interning students and employees to work on projects and have access to the internet.

A computer designated specifically for demonstration purposes is equipped with a Levity system, allowing the computer to be positioned just about any way imaginable.

There are also separate stations which are equipped for scanning, streaming media production, video editing on a Media 100, and CD duplication and printing.
    Hardware
We use a variety of computers which include the following:
    • Macintosh
    • Sun
    • Dell
    Software
We use and evaluate a wide variety of software applications. This software ranges from web page authoring software to high end 3D graphics software to programming languages. When software tools are needed that do not exist, our software engineers create tools for our needs.
