    GEMS - Girls Excelling in Math & Science

    GEMS – Girls Excelling in Math & Science, A project of the Eberly Center for Women, underwritten by the Toledo Chapter of the Links, Inc.

    Want to volunteer some time?  If so, consider becoming a volunteer tutor.

    The Eberly Center for Women is organizing a GEMS (Girls Excelling in Math & Science) Project here in Toledo, OH.

    We need tutors for girls in math and science at a local elementary school.  The tutoring project begins on Tuesday, October 13th and will end on Thursday, December 17th.   Volunteers will tutor a 5th or 6th grade girl from 3:15pm – 4:15pm on Tuesday and Thursday. 

    There will be a tutor training on Friday, October 2nd, 2pm – 4pm in the UT Eberly Center Conference Room, Tucker Hall 0180.
