Floor one: VIRTUAL IMMERSIVE REALITY & 3D PRINT CENTER

A welcoming, highly technical lobby and displays, global learning suite, multi-purpose theater, virtual immersive spaces, and administrative and medical illustration offices are located on floor one.

The Virtual Immersive Reality Center at UT-IISC is comprised of one of the widest array of VIR technologies in Ohio.  Virtual immersive environments, stereoscopic/3D simulations, motion tracking and large scale touch technologies, offer unprecedented opportunities for learning, teaching and research!

All VIR technologies are available for use by all UT staff and current students for university sanctioned class instruction and study.  These spaces are also available for external, non-university affiliated groups for a rental and staffing fee.

 

Floor TWO: ADVANCED SURGICAL SKILLS CENTER

The main hub of IISC's Advanced Surgical Skills Center & its team members is floor two.  The state-of-the-art elliptical hospital is a central control hub surrounded by four different simulation rooms.  There are also breakout rooms and additional rooms equiped with simulation trainers and models.

 

Floor three: PROGRESSIVE ANATOMY & SURGICAL SKILLS CENTER

Surgical simulation training suites, fresh tissue labs, virtual operating suites and The Merrick Surgical skills lab, named after one of IISC's most supportive family and surgeons Dr Hollis Merrick & Dr Mary R. Smith, are all located on floor three.

 • Recording & Broadcasting     
 • Surgical Lounge – catering available

Lower Level: ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES

IISC's home health care suite, the innovation labs, a collaboration, a technology development and a 3D creation suite are all located on the lower level.
