The Office of International Student Services coordinates many intercultural programs to help international students learn about the local community, culture and customs. Students' and visiting scholars' involvement in these programs can help them to become more adjusted to the life in the United States and comfortable during their stay in Toledo.

These programs also allow Americans to learn more about rich and unique cultures of international students. When American individuals and families take part in these opportunities, it can be an exciting way to make an international friend and to explore the world that has come to us, right here in Toledo.
