International Student Orientation
International Student Orientation (ISO)
Welcome to UT!
This page is designed to help you understand what to expect at International Student Orientation (ISO). This orientation is specialized for F-1 and J-1 students who are new to The University of Toledo including international graduate, undergraduate, transfer, and direct from high school students.
ISO occurs three times a year: in fall, spring, and summer, prior to the beginning of each term. New international students should begin to plan for orientation as soon as they receive their Form I-20 or DS-2019 in the mail.
What do I do at Orientation?
During the program you will gain knowledge about the University of Toledo such as immigration check-in, placement testing, paying for school, acquiring permanent housing, health insurance and learn about the many education opportunities that UT offers both inside and outside of the classroom. For a complete schedule click on the term in which you will be attending below in the schedule section.
All F-1 and J-1 student visa holders who have received admission and an I-20/DS-2019 from The University of Toledo are
required to attend ISO.
