The Confucius Institute invites you to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival and Lantern Festival with 3-days of fun activities leading up to a unique Chinese troupe performance on Thursday, February 13. Learn about all the events featured this week below:

Chinese Zodiac
Learn about the Chinese Zodiac, its history, mythology legends and the twelve animals (2014 is a horse year).
Light refreshments featuring Chinese candies will be served.

Love Theme Photo Contest

Submit any photos with the theme of love. Photo should express love toward a special someone in your life. Email photo submissions to confuciusInstitute@utoledo.edu by February 5th noting your name,  email/phone and a short photo description. Photos will be on display Feb 12-14 outside the CI in SM 1020. Stop by to vote for your favorite photo; on February 14th at noon you can sample a Tang-yuan (sticky rice dumpling), winners will be announce later that day.
