Echo360, Now in Every Classroom

As Fall semester approaches, we want to let you know about an active learning tool to which all faculty have access – Echo360. This system has two parts: recording live face-to-face classes or using software to create videos from home or office. Any videos created with the system can be automatically uploaded to our private server or to your Blackboard course.

With Echo360, faculty can create and easily upload lecture content in advance. Students can access content at their convenience before class, allowing them to think through trouble spots and formulate questions that will help them grasp topics – they don't have to worry about getting left behind during class. Or students can watch videos from their face-to-face class afterward to review difficult topics.

In the past, only certain rooms were equipped with the necessary hardware needed to record live lecture.
