UT Human Resources : 2009-2010 Open Enrollment

Now is the time!  Open Enrollment is the one time each year you can enroll or make changes in your healthcare benefits and this year everyone MUST RE-ENROLL for benefits for 2010 coverage.  It’s also time to enroll or re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account Program or Health Savings Account which must be done annually.  This is your opportunity to evaluate the benefit needs for you and your family, review the options offered by the University of Toledo and make your choices for the coming year.  Information about Plan updates and legal notifications are included on the respective link according to your campus and union status, if applicable. All Main Campus employees will use the Main Campus link and Health Science Campus employees are separated by AFSCME and Non-Union.    

We will also be holding Health Care Benefits Open Enrollment Meetings that will provide details on the benefits that will be available for 2010.  We highly encourage ALL employees to attend one of these meetings so that you are well-informed on what benefits are available to you and your family.  Below is a list of the scheduled meetings: PLEASE NOTE CHANGES IN RED!

Please review your Benefit Summary located on the Employee tab of the myUT portal.  To access this, go to the utoledo.edu website, click on the myUt logo at the top, sign in and click on the Employee tab.  Under “Benefits Information”, click on the link to your personal “Benefit Summary”.  Click on the “Select” button and your Benefit Summary will appear.  This summary will tell you which dependents are covered under each different benefit plan you are currently enrolled in.
