Investigations Detectives
The UT Police Department operates with a staff of two full-time detectives. They are responsible for the investigation of more serious crimes on campus, including crimes against persons and crimes against property.
The detectives also work with other area law enforcement agenices, including the Northwest Ohio Joint Terrorism Task Force, the U.S. Secret Service for dignitary visits, the FBI on cyber-crime cases, and working with Toledo Police, the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Village of Ottawa Hills Police on various other crimes.
