: Property Control

The purpose of Property Control is to maintain accurate accounting of University fixed assets. Property Control must ensure that all fixed assets are tagged with a Property Control Tag and that relevant information for each asset is provided in the financial system. This information becomes useful for inventory management, insurance claims, and/or external party inquiries. Property Control is also responsible for the authorization and recording of fixed asset disposals.
