Animal Orders, Bedding, Cage & Diet Supplies
General Information
In accordance with The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, The Animal Welfare Act and Regulations (CFR 1985); The Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (PHS 1996); and other applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies - all research activities involving animals at The University of Toledo must be done under the oversight of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
Questions related to animal use in research and protocol information should be directed to the IACUC Administrator ot 419-383-4252.
Ordering Information
The division of Laboratory Animal Resources (DLAR) handles all animal orders, related bedding, cage washing supplies, and diet for the University. Questions related to animal orders should be directed to DLAR at 419-383-4310 or 419-383-5279.
To place an order:
- Complete the DLAR Animal Requisition Form
- Click "Submit"
- In the popup box select "Desktop Email Application"
- Click "OK"
- When the email appears, click "Send"
