Dr. Thomas J. Switzer, Dean of the Judith Herb College of Education, is a visionary with big dreams. One of his visions upon assuming the deanship in August 2002 was to form a think tank, a Leadership Committee to work with him and the college on long-range strategic planning. The group is designed to keep the College on the leading edge of new developments in education. Dean Switzer affectionately calls the Leadership Committee our Dream Team. The Dream Team meets two to three times per year and is comprised of 12 members from various professions and locations around the country. Current members of the Dream Team are listed below. - Judith Herb, Chair (B.Ed., '61; M.Ed., '64), is a philanthropist and businesswoman. Herb founded Herbwood Home and Office Interiors in 1981 and is president of the company which is located in Barrington Hills, Illinois where she resides.
- Cynthia Beekley (B.A.,51, M.S.,65, Ed. D. 94) is a retired school superintendent and currently serves as a Visiting Scholar in the Educational Leadership Department at the University of Toledo.
- Essie Calhoun (B.Ed., '70) is vice president of Eastman Kodak Company in Fairport, New York where she resides.
- Dr. Gary Corrigan (B.Ed.,'70; Ph.D., '77) is a loaned executive at United Way of Greater Toledo and has founded his own consulting firm. He resides in Sylvania, Ohio.
- The Honorable Judith Lanzinger (B.Ed., '68; Law, '77) is a justice on the Supreme Court of Ohio. She resides in Toledo.

Bill Shunk (B.Ed., '76; M.Ed., '81; Ed Specialist, '84) is the assistant superintendent of Sylvania Schools in Sylvania, Ohio. He resides in Sylvania, Ohio.
- Linda Stacy (B.Ed., '69; M.Ed., '71; EDS, '79) is special assistant for government and community relations at Owens Community College in Perrysburg, Ohio. She resides in Sylvania, Ohio.
- Diana (Dee) Talmage (M.Ed., '65) is a community volunteer who sits on numerous community boards in the Toledo area. She resides in Ottawa Hills, Ohio.
- Timothy Yenrick (B.Ed., '87; M.Ed., '99) is the executive director of the American Red Cross in Toledo, Ohio. He resides in Rossford, Ohio.
