Stay in NW Ohio Recruitment and Incentive Plan
Recruitment of residents of Ohio, particularly graduates of NW Ohio institutions to stay in the area and work in STEMM fields is of particular concern — as many engineering and medical fields fail to fill vacant positions. Often, graduates of UT, BG, Owens, and other regional institutions, leave Ohio to find employment. The “Stay in NW Ohio Plan” will bring together resources from regional employers and stakeholders to provide incentives for graduates to stay and work in Ohio. Potential partnerships to collectively recruit graduates are anticipated to make a large impact on retention of our graduates in NW Ohio.
