Electronic Assessment System
An electronic dossier system was established in fiscal year 2004
and allows students at the University of Toledo (but primarily within the
Judith Herb College of Education) the opportunity to develop an electronic
Web-based portfolio. This is used for self-reflection on learning and
documentation of professional growth, while laying the foundation for
performance-based licensing. A dedicated server for this system provides a
continuous service for students while they are here and after graduation.
The system tracks student test scores, Critical
Performance (CP) details and other important information for students in the
teaching profession. It is a storage and assessment environment for videos,
documents, and other files. It is also used to meet the expectations of the
Ohio Teacher Performance Licensing Standards. Students are able to access the
system to view, update, and track their performance throughout their college
career. Students will also be able to use their information stored on the
system as their personal dossiers when applying for employment. This system is
under constant expansion and development, and it also requires regular
maintenance for effective use by students, instructors, and college
administrators. To log into EAS, visit the link below.
