The Internationalization Consortium (TIC), established in 2014, is a consortium of American colleges and universities, working with the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) to connect American higher education institutions with Chinese higher vocational colleges to internationalize the college experience.  All US higher education institutions are eligible for membership.

The Consortium has begun with a focus on China, in particular on the development of partnerships between community colleges in Ohio and Michigan, and higher vocational colleges in Southeast China.  In the US, the Consortium has approached both the Ohio Association of Community Colleges and the Michigan Community College Association as potential partners; and in China, the China Education Association for International Exchange and the Confucius Institute Headquarters have agreed to partner with the Consortium.
