The Early Childhood Education program prepares students to work with children who are typically developing, at risk, gifted, and have mild to moderate special needs in a variety of settings (from age 3 to grade 3). The student must complete a minimum of 36 hours of University Core and General Education courses. The 36 hours of course work must include 10 hours of Early Professional courses and 9 hours of Cognate courses.
