Domestic and International Conference Participation for Graduate Students
The Dean's Office of the Judith Herb College of Education has a limited amount of money to support graduate students who travel to conferences to present scholarly papers and presentations. Requests are considered each semester. The deadline for requesting travel funds for Fall semester is August 1 (prior to the fall semester in which students will be traveling) and the deadline for Spring semester is December 1 (prior to the spring semester in which students will be traveling).
Students may request up to $750 for national travel (including travel to Canada) and $1250 for international travel. Please note that since a limited amount of money is available, these amounts are maximum--depending on the number of students requesting support, this amount may be decreased to help as many students as possible. The College's Student Affairs Committee will review and act upon each application. Students who receive travel support are required to present their research at the College's Spring Research Symposium (date to be announced).
