Dr. Dennis Lettman began his career at The University of Toledo in 1989, where he served as the Associate Dean for Student Services and Associate Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at the former University of Toledo Community and Technical College. In 1999 he joined University College as Associate Dean for Student Access and Success/ Interim Associate Dean for Degree and Special Programs and Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary and Special Programs with University College. He has had many accomplishments including the reorganization of academic and student support services and helped in creating the Learning Enhancement Center which provides tutoring and academic support to all UT students.
In the Fall of 2007, Dr. Lettman was named Interim Dean of University College and served in tht capacity until Fall 2008 when he became Dean of University College Degree Programs in the UT Learning Collaborative.
Dr. Lettman began his 30-year higher education career at the University of Cincinnati and then moved on to Sinclair Community College and finally joined the ranks at The University of Toledo.
Dr. Lettman received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from State University of New York, his Master of Education in Counseling and Guidance and his Doctor of Education, both, from the University of Cincinnati.
